Welcome to the new and improved Barefootwillies.com!!

Barefoot Willies is a motorcycle accessory company founded by inventor and avid motorcycle enthusiast Bill Fowler (Barefoot Willie) in the year 2000.

 


It all started one day during a long ride in the hot sun. Willie had the thought that a nice cool beverage was exactly what he needed but he had no where to rest the drink while he was operating his bike. The idea for the "Cool Rider" beverage holder was born. Willie quickly got to work designing a drink holder specifically for motorcycles that would be easy to install, easy to use, affordable and durable. Luck would have it that one of the only injection-molding plastics companies in all of Kansas was only 10 miles from Willies house. A perfect partnership was made and Cool Rider beverage holders started to roll of the assembly line.

Willie has been peddling his wares at motorcycle rallies all over the county and through independent vendors for nearly 10 years. If you happen to be at a big rally, be sure to look for Barefoot Willie himself among the booths. He can also be seen cruising the wide open spaces of central Kansas, so if you're riding through, be sure to keep your eyes open.

In the summer of 2009 he brought on his nephews Mark and Brian (the Bobrow Brothers) to create and maintain the new website.
